Book review for English Class :)

As part of English class, Mrs. Brogan has asked us to do a review on a book we have read recently, i have recently finished the book 'Kensuke's kingdom' by Michael Mupurgo.

Kensuke’s Kingdom book cover

This novel was about a young boy named Michael, who set off along with his family aboard the boat, The Peggy Sue. Everything was going well, until a storm strikes, leaving Michael and his dog Stella drifting away. when they land on an island they meet several new characters and learn important life lessons, including the importance of trust.

I really enjoyed reading this  book for a number of reasons, but mainly because it has a good plot, and I have never read a book similar to this before. It had a page turning plot that made you want to keep reading. I would highly recommend this book to people of all ages, both students and adults, because I feel like everyone would enjoy it.

Bt young scientist

Bt Young Scientist

Today we got to go to the RDS to see the projects from the other schools around Ireland. It was really interesting to see some of the ideas that the groups came up with. There were some great projects, one group came up with a great idea and as part of their project the came up with two equations that will help prevent coffee rust, they went really far in the competition and got to be a runner up.
The eco part of the exabition was also really interesting, there was a really good stall on earthquakes and the effects of earthquakes, and it was really intesrting to listen to it.

We also went to the back of the exebition where there was RTE and intel and other stalls like that, and at the end of the day we got something to eat in the food canteen, before going back on the bus J
